Private Yoga in Baltimore

The spirit that’s ready to feel whole again.
If you’re navigating chronic pain, fatigue, injury, anxiety, or simply the quiet sense that something is out of balance, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out alone either.
Maybe group classes feel too fast or crowded. Maybe your body needs a different kind of attention — slower, deeper, more attuned to your real experience.
You’re looking for a guide who listens, a space that feels safe, and a practice that meets you exactly where you are.
That’s where private yoga with Marley Keller comes in.

Meet Your Instructor
Marley Keller, E-RYT 500 and founder of Abhyasa Yoga, brings over 25 years of experience to her private and small group offerings.
With a background in dance and psychology, Marley has studied extensively in the ParaYoga tradition and is trained in therapeutic yoga for a wide range of conditions — from chronic pain and structural imbalance to emotional fatigue and nervous system dysregulation.
She specializes in working with adults of all ages, especially those seeking support for scoliosis, sleep issues, joint or back pain, anxiety, menopause, or recovery after injury.
Her teaching blends breath, alignment, and intuitive movement to guide students into a deeper relationship with themselves — body, mind, and spirit.
More about Marley....
Marley Keller, E-RYT 500, is a devoted student and teacher of yoga with a lifelong foundation in movement and mindfulness. With her training, Marley brings a unique blend of physical intelligence and emotional awareness to her work with both children and adults.
Marley began dancing at age 3 and discovered yoga by 7, laying the foundation for what would become a lifelong exploration of embodied movement.
She continued her formal dance training for over 20 years, earning a degree from Goucher College where she studied Eastern and Western psychology, Labanotation, anatomy and movement analysis, Skinner Releasing Technique, and Bartenieff Fundamentals.
In 2006, Marley completed her initial 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA. She went on to deepen her studies through additional 200 and 500 hour advanced trainings with a focus on yoga therapeutics at Golden Heart Yoga in Annapolis, MD.
Since 2008, Marley has studied extensively with Yogarupa Rod Stryker, an American yoga and meditation teacher, author, speaker, and founder of ParaYoga. This lineage-based system, rooted in the Sri Vidya spiritual tradition, weaves together the asana, pranayama, kriya, mudra, and mantra styles of yoga in a way that is both practical and profound. Her teaching is guided by this integrative approach, blending energetic practices with purposeful sequencing to create transformational experiences.
In 2020, Marley completed her certification as a Yoga Nidra facilitator with the Amrit Yoga Institute in Salt Springs, FL and has since integrated this deeply restorative meditation practice into her classes, workshops, and individual sessions.
While her primary influence is ParaYoga, Marley draws on a wide range of yoga traditions including Anusara, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Viniyoga, and Yin Yoga.
She specializes in one-on-one yoga therapy for those with acute and chronic conditions like Parkinsons, MS, joint replacements, fibromyalgia and arthritis. Additionally, Marley is trained in prenatal yoga, yoga for athletes, kids yoga, and yoga for special populations.
Based in the Baltimore, MD area, Marley offers group and private classes, workshops, and teacher trainings. In 2016, she launched Abhyasa Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training, designed for both aspiring teachers and committed students seeking to deepen their practice.
With a strong emphasis on breath, alignment, and self-awareness, Marley’s mission is to help students reconnect with their own wisdom and cultivate a deeper sense of balance between body, mind, and spirit.

"Marley is one of the most motivated educators I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. She exudes positive energy. I recruited her to teach 2 sessions a week at my consulting company, which has positively impacted our team dynamic, the general well being of each participant, and has obviously reduced stress. Marley communicates very effectively with any type of person and naturally derives near and long -term goals based on the needs and desires of individuals."
I take many of the techniques from Marley’s class and use them in my work on my massage table. Whether it’s a stretch, a breathing technique, a muscle-releasing trick with a tennis ball, or simply the memory of her poise, The benefits of Marley’s instruction extend far beyond the classroom walls. It seems to me that Marley is living yoga practice, actively a student herself, and excellent at sharing
Massage Therapist
"Marley’s combination of yoga training, education in dance and psychology, and most importantly her dedication to personal practice has made her highly knowledgeable in the uses of yoga to serve as a physically and emotionally therapeutic tool. With this knowledge, Marley is able to create yoga sessions that entertain, challenge, and relax her students all at once ... Similarly, this same understanding allows Marley to provide her students with a great technical foundation from which to grow and expand."
